The Scribbler’s Dais Book cover launch

In an attempt to try something new and bring some excitement in my life, I took a decision that turned out to be a roller-coaster ride.

I thought of compiling my own anthology.

So far, I had co-authored in 50+ anthologies and my inner voice said, ”let’s try compiling for once.’

I connected with a friend from the team and we started our project. I started searching for writers in full force and in just 17 days, I had 62 co-authors on board.

Most of them were my friends and friends of friends and the rest were whom I reached out organically or vice versa.

The convincing sessions, the submissions and payment procedures, the manuscript finalization, proofreading, and corrections, working with the team on the cover, it was a hilarious and exciting journey with its share of downs too.

Some people backed off at the last moment, irrational requests of o-authors, resolving their queries every day, getting the changes done in manuscript and cover back and forth, etc.

Finally, we revealed the cover yesterday. And the response was overwhelming.

Eagerly waiting for the book to be launched.
